TEAS AT THE HISTORIC CHERRY HILL FARMHOUSE

There are many opportunities to enjoy a lovely tea at the Historic Cherry Hill Farmhouse.

FRIENDS' TEAS: The Friends of Cherry Hill host teas, which are offered on or around select holidays in the early afternoon and are open to the public. Our seasonal teas start with a conversation with a costumed interpreter who gives an entertaining talk in the formal 19th century parlor before guests are ushered into the lovely dining room for a full tea. The tea includes sandwiches, assorted sweets, scones, and a bottomless cup of tea. Some of our most popular seasonal teas are our Valentine’s Tea,  Mother’s Day Tea, and Holiday Teas in December. The cost of the teas is $48 per person, and registration is required.  

PRIVATE TEAS: Private teas can be scheduled Tuesday through Saturday anytime for groups of 12 to 18 guests. The teas include a conversation in the parlor, a full tea in the dining room, and a tour of the Farmhouse. Teas can be scheduled any time between 10 am and 5 pm with evening availability on a case-by-case basis. The cost of the teas is $45 per person.    

CHILDREN'S AND SCOUT TEAS: Children will learn about life at Cherry Hill Farm in mid-19th century Virginia. They will then enjoy a tea party in the lovely dining room along with a tour of the Farmhouse. This tea is for groups of 12 to 18 guests, and all guests at the same event must choose the same tea, whether all sweet tea or all full tea.   

SWEET TEA includes assorted sweets, fruit, and tea or lemonade for $20 per person.
FULL TEA includes sandwiches, scones, sweets, and tea or lemonade for $35 per person.

PRIVATE RENTAL TEAS: The Cherry Hill tea experience is perfect for a baby or bridal shower, birthday party, and many more celebrations!
